How to Move a Piano onto the Great Wall of China

It takes a truck with a sturdy crane, and a whole lot of muscle. That’s what I learned in ThePianoGuys‘s brief documentary about how they moved a baby grand piano onto the Great Wall of China for their music video, “Kung Fu Piano: Cello Ascends”. Cellist Steven Sharp Nelson and pianist Jon Schmidt created an epic arrangement of “Oogway Ascends” from the Kung Fu Panda soundtrack. Check out the remarkable video below, in which all sounds were created by cello, piano, and Asian percussion. And after that, take a gander at the second video, which shows how they hoisted the baby grand.
