Elvira Introduces New 69 Eyes Music Video, “Red”

The Finnish gothic rock band, The 69 Eyes, is preparing to release its tenth release, X, on October 9, 2012. The vampire-themed music group has collaborated with renowned producer, Patric Ullaeus, founder of Revolver Film Company. Elvira, the Mistress of the Darkness, provided a special introduction to the group’s new single, “Red.”

“Vampira, Tura Satana and Elvira. The concept of The 69 Eyes is based on the evil beauty of these women,” said lead vampire, Jyrki69. “I was a member of Elvira fan club ever since I saw her on the cover of Fangoria in the mid-80’s. I had a life-size poster of her in the black lingerie in a coffin on my wall for years. F*ck it, I should put it back, just to celebrate the fact that finally I feel like The 69 Eyes made it – Elvira’s supporting us!”

Perhaps the next (and maybe last(?)) season of True Blood will include a track from the upcoming album in an episode.
