Cathedral in Czech Republic Altered into Virtual Instrument

Technology continues to expand how we interact with physical objects.  The Macula group transformed a Baroque church in the Czech Republic into a virtual instrument which is “played” by using laser pointers.  Various aspects of the church’s architecture were mapped to become virtual elements which were programmed to project sounds or soundscapes.  The Archifon can be played by up to ten performers at once. This is pretty cool.
