Today is the last day of Hanukkah, and I’d like to close things out with music from two fantastic children’s choirs – the Yeshiva Boys Choir (YBC) and the PS 22 Chorus. YBC has performed in sold-out shows all around the world. They’ve even had the opportunity to sing at renowned concert venues such as Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, and The Lyric Opera House. You can check out their adorable video, “Those Were the Nights (of Chanukah)” at the end of this post.
The PS 22 chorus from Graniteville, Staten Island, is best known for their show-stealing performance at the Academy Awards earlier this year (click here to read about it). Under the direction of Gregg Breinberg, the chorus celebrates Hanukkah with a traditional Hebrew song, “Mi Yimalel”. You’ll find their video below.
