This week’s Halloween-themed Dancing with the Stars episode featured frighteningly fun music. The best musical selections accompanied performances by Nancy Grace/Tristan McManus and Team Paso
Unfortunately, Nancy had a h*** of a time with her jive to the Charlie Daniels Band’s “Devil Went down to Georgia”. As a violinist, I loved the fiddle work by the violinist in the Harold Wheeler Band. This is one of those times when I wish soloists with the band could get some type of on-screen acknowledgment.
Team Paso (Ricki Lake/Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke/Rob Kardashian, Hope Solo/Maks Chmerkovskiy) rocked the Paso Doble to Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life”. The lead vocalist did a great imitation of Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee. The band brought drama and grit to this epic tune.
