Maroon 5 and Coca-Cola’s History Making 24-Hour Recording Session

Talk about having too many cooks in the kitchen. On March 22, Maroon 5 and Coca-Cola composed an original song in just 24 hours using inspiration from people all around the world. Fans got a virtual all-access pass by visiting, where they could suggest lyrics, riffs, and pictures to inspire the creation of the new song.

The  recording studio used a movement-based projection system which streamed communication from fans onto the studio walls and enabled the band to interact directly with the fans.

A free MP3 of the new track will be available here on April 1. For the first 100,000 downloads, Coca-Cola will make a donation to*RAIN, which provides clean water to people in Africa.
