Lilith Fair Announces First Batch of Cities For Tour

LilithEarlier this year,  Terry McBride announced via his Twitter account that Lilith Fair was returning after a 10+ year hiatus.  It is still unclear who will be part of the lineup.  I heard a few rumors today, if true, could offer a more diverse Lilith Fair than before.  Lineup announcements should be “coming soon.”  Yesterday, the new Lilith Fair website launched announcing the first round of cities the tour will visit.  Here is a blurb from an announcement from the website:

Lilith 2010 promises to be a much bigger summer festival than it was in the past, traveling for the first time overseas and celebrating a mix of international artists and local up-and-comers. To capture the new energy of Lilith, Vancouver’s Traction Creative was brought on board to reinvigorate the Lilith brand—the new look is revealed today for the first time with the launch of the website.

So, for all you rocker/indie gals waiting for an all-female music festival (and gents who will be dragged to this), here is the initial batch of cities announced (no dates provided though):

  • Atlanta, GA
  • Boston, MA
  • Calgary, AB
