Music Listening Habits – Helping a Music PhD Candidate

Image via Wikipedia

This post is to help a fellow musician out. After reading WIRED’s Listening Post helping a PhD candidate, I couldn’t help but oblige. After reaching out to Melissa Avdeeff, the Musicology PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh who is studying how MP3 players and the digital music culture are changing our listening habits, she asked that I also share the survey.

It is really fascinating to witness firsthand how our listening habits are changing since the release of the iPod. I often wonder where the music  industry would be if the iPod hadn’t been so successful. I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the survey.

In the meantime, help out a fellow music fan, and take – The Survey.
